1:1 Consultations

My 1:1 Consultations feature a comprehensive mix of support:

  • Full health history analysis

  • Investigation of drug-nutrient interactions

  • Written nutrition and supplement programmes

  • Information handouts and cheat sheets

  • Meal plans

  • Functional testing recommendations and analysis (testing using blood, stool, urine and saliva samples to indicate biochemical imbalances)

  • Email support (in between consultations)

  • I created my health programmes to offer clients support over an extended period of time, to give the attention that chronic health symptoms deserve. It is my experience that many health complaints need time to unravel, almost like peeling back layers, to look upstream and uncover deeper aspects of why someone is experiencing poor health.

Here is a breakdown of my 2 programmes:

    12 week programme:

    • 1 initial consultation (1 hour)

    • 4 follow up consultations (30-45 mins each)

    • Written tailored nutrition and supplement plans

    • Access to a downloadable app so you can communicate with me in between consultations for support

    • Functional testing guidance and analysis

    • Tailored meal plans

    • 10% off recommended supplements

    6 week programme:

    • 1 initial consultation (1 hour)

    • 2 follow up consultations (45 mins each)

The rest is the same as the above 12 week programme.

  • Through this deep dive into your health, you will learn:

    • What is triggering your symptoms through cutting edge lab testing and health history analysis

    • How to include foods in your diet that help to support your health and mental wellbeing

    • What nutrients deficiencies may be driving or perpetuating your symptoms

    • Empowering lifestyle practices that help to reset your brain and body and increase your resilience

Functional Testing

Functional tests are comprehensive measurements based on blood, saliva, urine or stool samples, that combine standard and innovative biomarkers of health. These can assist practitioners in gaining a better understanding of specific biological systems of each individual. This knowledge can give us significant clues to the underlying drivers of your symptoms and can guide us more effectively in creating programmes tailored to your individual needs.

(Please note: tests are not included in the consultation fees)

Tests frequently used in my practice

  • This includes both genomic markers, as well as metabolites related to methylation. Methylation is a chemical process that happens billions of times per second in every cell of the body. It underpins many physiological processes, and for this reason, methylation imbalances can manifest in many ways, such as poor hormone detoxification, mood disorders, chronic fatigue, cognitive dysfunction and cardiovascular disease.

  • The Organic Acids Test (OAT) offers a comprehensive metabolic snapshot of a patient’s overall health with 76 markers. In particular, it is effective in providing an accurate evaluation on gut bacteria and potential yeast overgrowth, which can have a profound impact on the brain and mental health, as well as on the immune system and metabolism. Many with conditions such as depression, generalised anxiety disorder, psychotic conditions, behaviour disorders and neurological conditions, excrete abnormal levels of certain organic acids, which can be as a result of immune deficiencies, poor diets, infections and gut bacteria imbalances.

The OAT also includes markers for vitamin and mineral levels, oxidative stress and neurotransmitter levels.

  • Digestion and the gut are incredibly important when looking at mental health. Emerging research in the past decade has shown how the gut microbiome (bacteria) play a pivotal role in brain health and mental wellbeing. This is why doing a stool analysis and looking at how your gut bacteria are composed, as well as ruling out any digestive insufficiencies, such as lack of pancreatic enzymes, stomach acid and bile acid, is a crucial part of my practice.

  • I work with panels by LifecodeGx, to look at varying genetic influences for symptoms, such as depression, anxiety, psychosis, toxicity, and nutrient deficiencies.
