About Me
My Professional Experience
After completing my studies at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2016, I had the privilege of working at the Brain Bio Centre, which was a London based specialist clinic in brain and mental health, where I was mentored by senior clinicians. Since then, I have been further investing in my development as a clinician by undergoing training at the Institute of Functional Medicine, completing advanced modules in several areas, and certifying fully as a Functional Medicine Practitioner. With 8 years of practice under my belt, I now work part time for a diagnostic lab where I educate other clinicians (doctors, nutritionists, chiropractors, herbalists etc) on how to interpret their patients’ labs so that they can adequately tailor their health plans to their test results, as well as supporting my patients through my online clinic.

Western medicine treats symptoms and not the underlying cause of symptoms. Whilst allopathic medicine can be lifesaving, chronic diseases, such as IBS, Chronic Fatigue, Autoimmunity, Depression, PCOS and Diabetes, cannot be resolved with medication. They must be addressed holistically.
I believe that we are all biochemically unique - our individual make up of varying genetic factors, health histories, diet, lifestyle, and psychospiritual wellbeing can all play a pivotal role in how we experience health. With this in mind, I believe that in order to truly heal, we have to look and take into consideration all of these aspects that contribute to our health. This includes diet, lifestyle, sleep, environment, exercise and emotional health.
My approach is in identifying the underlying drivers of your symptoms. And by doing so, I look at you as a whole human being, rather than a compartmentalised entity. Factors such as:
Nutrient deficiencies
Gut bacteria imbalances
Environmental toxicity
Blood sugar imbalances
Inflammation
Infection (latent viruses)
Hormone imbalances
Poor methylation
Can all either cause symptoms, or simply continue to perpetuate them.
I work one to one with clients that are ready to start taking their health into their own hands. If this is you, please get in touch.

Practitioners I work with
I believe that health is multifaceted and can often require several approaches to help get to the bottom of chronic symptoms. This is why I regularly work with and refer clients to other practitioners that can offer other skills and perspectives. Please see more information about the team of practitioners I enjoy working closely with below.

Hannah is a clinical psychologist offering a therapeutic input alongside nutritional therapy and functional medicine. Hannah draws on personal and professional experience to offer guidance within a warm, non-judgemental space.
Hannah likes to work together with clients, exploring their needs and preferences, and then offering ideas informed by a range of psychological models. The models Hannah draws on most are narrative therapy and CBT. Often the work involves uncovering and strengthening resources that people already have or getting in touch with lost values.
Hannah has 11 years experience working therapeutically in the NHS and third sector, and has extensive experience offering individual therapy to people with difficulties including (but not limited to) low mood, low self-esteem, anxiety, self-harm, behavioural difficulties, OCD and trauma.

DEIRDRE NAZARETH, OSTEOPATH AND FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE PRACTITIONER

Deirdre has an intuitive understanding of the body and how to get it to perform optimally through her many years of experience in the health and wellness field. Her career started as personal trainer while simultaneously working as a research assistant in the Department of Human Genetics at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. The passion for developing a deeper understanding of the body led her to complete a Master’s in Osteopathic Medicine at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine and further that knowledge by completing a Master’s in Pain Neuroscience at King’s College London.
She is also the first osteopath who completed the certification pathway through the Institute of Functional Medicine. She does dry needling and completed the certification in auricular acupuncture through the College of Auricular Acupuncture. She has co-authored a chapter in the second edition of Andrew Weil’s Medicine Library, “Integrative Gastroenterology” that showcased her understanding of the neurophysiology of pain and how it can be used to explain functional bowel disorders. She gives her clients the education and tools necessary to make lasting changes by combining her many skill sets.
