My Professional Experience

After completing my studies at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2016, I had the privilege of working at the Brain Bio Centre, which was a London based specialist clinic in brain and mental health, where I was mentored by senior clinicians. After 5 years of clinical practice, I decided to further my training and complete advanced modules at the Institute of Functional Medicine, certifying fully as a Functional Medicine Practitioner in 2023. Whilst undergoing training at IFM, I worked part time as a clinician educator for a diagnostic lab where I educated other clinicians (doctors, nutritionists, chiropractors, herbalists etc) on how to interpret their patients’ labs so that they can adequately tailor their health plans to their test results, as well as supporting my patients through my online clinic. I now focus exclusively on my online functional medicine clinic - Whole Mind Health - as well as consulting with various companies around the world on integrative medicine.

  • Western medicine treats symptoms and not the underlying cause of symptoms. Whilst allopathic medicine can be lifesaving, chronic diseases, such as IBS, Chronic Fatigue, Autoimmunity, Depression, PCOS and Diabetes, cannot be resolved with medication. They must be addressed holistically.

I believe that we are all biochemically unique - our individual make up of varying genetic factors, health histories, diet, lifestyle, and psychospiritual wellbeing can all play a pivotal role in how we experience health. With this in mind, I believe that in order to truly heal, we have to look and take into consideration all of these aspects that contribute to our health. This includes diet, lifestyle, sleep, environment, exercise and emotional health.

My approach is in identifying the underlying drivers of your symptoms. And by doing so, I look at you as a whole human being, rather than a compartmentalised entity. Factors such as:

    • Nutrient deficiencies

    • Gut bacteria imbalances

    • Environmental toxicity

    • Blood sugar imbalances

    • Inflammation

    • Infection (latent viruses)

    • Hormone imbalances

    • Poor methylation

Can all either cause symptoms, or simply continue to perpetuate them.

I work one to one with clients that are ready to start taking their health into their own hands. If this is you, please get in touch.

What is functional medicine?

We are all unique individuals, with varying health histories, genetics, lifestyles, and psycho-emotional wellbeing, and this is precisely why a large part of functional medicine involves understanding who you are as an individual, your detailed personal and family history, the circumstances around your first symptoms, and the experiences you may have had with other healthcare providers.
